OPARI is not a single brand – OPARI is a group. And behind this group is a clear and ambitious goal: to unite several specialised online shops under one technologically and content-wise strong umbrella. OPARI includes well-known platforms such as Homemade.ch and Geschenkidee.ch – two shops that not only score points with inspiring products, but also with a special flair for storytelling and brand experience.
What unites these shops? A consistent attitude towards quality – in selection, presentation and technology. With over 20 million visits per year, 400,000 orders and a portfolio of over 30,000 products, OPARI stands for an e-commerce concept that takes both users and brands seriously. Since 2022, we at bestbytes have been accompanying this journey – strategically, creatively and technologically. And that's exactly what makes it so exciting.

The tasks
When we started OPARI in 2022, it wasn't about a classic project, but about building a complete digital infrastructure: brand, technology and processes from a single source. Together with the OPARI team, we developed a strong visual identity including logo, business stationery and corporate website – all with a focus on storytelling and brand world. At the same time, we created a scalable multi-tenancy commerce system that went live shop by shop, while new features were already being developed productively. Different shopping cart logics, independent themes and an advanced microservice architecture ensure maximum flexibility. On the infrastructure side, we supported the ERP migration to Microsoft Dynamics, integrated order data via MSD Connect and replaced legacy systems during ongoing operations – with full stability.
