The tasks

bestbytes accompanied HOMEMADE from the ground up—from the first scribble to the live launch. The web shop is the first within a multi-client-capable platform structure and thus also technologically the cornerstone for all other shops under the OPARI umbrella.

From the outset, the concept was clear: it should not simply be "just" a beautiful shop. The aim was to create a scalable and future-proof e-commerce platform that meets the highest technical and visual standards. A platform that combines information, inspiration, and interaction in a modern, charming way. To achieve this, we:

  • Developed a unique corporate designclear, friendly, high-quality

  • Created a UX strategy that makes user guidance feel naturalalmost like a conversation

  • Implemented the entire web shopincluding a set configurator, dynamic recipe section, and product recommendations that really make sense

  • integrated a community function that allows questions about products and recipes to be answered directly by the company's five in-house food experts

  • built a flexible integration architecture



Contentful was used as a headless CMS, Akeneo as a PIM system, and Emarsys for automated, personalized marketing. Comprehensive server-side tracking was implemented to ensure a clean database—as the basis for data-driven growth and efficient campaign management.
