But the whole thing needs structure. One that not only runs flawlessly from a technical standpoint, but also elegantly sorts, filters and presents the variety of gift ideas. The tasks

Geschenkidee.ch commissioned bestbytes to build a future-proof e-commerce platform that would impress both in terms of content and technology. The goal was to develop a scalable multi-tenant system with clear UX, intelligent filter logic and extensive personalisation functions. A key element was the implementation of a standalone personalisation system for photo gifts – including live preview, print PDF generation and connection to the PIM. In addition, a separate warehouse solution for personalised orders and a complete experience voucher lifecycle (including digital dispatch, redemption and B2B platform) were to be implemented. Mobile performance, high speed and the flexible integration of seasonal campaigns were also among the key requirements.
