The tasks

At the end of 2024, bestbytes began a comprehensive redesign of the bks.at website. The goal was to create a modern, UX-optimised platform that not only impresses with its high performance and scalability on all devices, but can also be operated cost-effectively.

In addition to the technical and design implementation, our focus was on strategic lead generation: through targeted communication and personalised content, we accompany potential customers throughout the entire customer journey – from initial interest to qualified contact.

  • Relaunch of www.bks.at and the international country websites

  • Replacement of the Liferay CMS with a modern, editor-friendly headless CMS

  • Strengthening of digital sales via application processes, lead generation and conversion optimisation

  • Setup of comprehensive tracking and analysis functions, including automatic re-engagement processes in case of abandonment

  • Design and content for credible presentation of sustainability expertise, customisable for target groups

  • Focus on high performance, security, accessibility and GDPR compliance

  • Multilingualism and country-specific adaptation for up to six markets

  • Technological foundation for migration of additional countries within nine months

  • Marketing-ready: GA4 tracking, retargeting via Google Ads, Looker dashboards, trigger emails with Maileon

  • Modular lead paths: GDPR-compliant forms for applications and consulting

  • Internationally scalable: Platform setup enabled rapid migration of additional markets

  • Digital design system: Scalable UI library in BKS look for consistent brand management and efficient further development

  • Responsive design, everywhere: Optimized user experience on all devices for consistent user guidance
    Individual product pages: Customizable landing pages for targeted communication and higher conversion rates

  • Visual refresh: In collaboration with bacon.studio, a modern, authentic design concept for media production and employer branding was created – including imagery, videos, and addressing new target groups.

Thus, a technically outdated website was transformed into a digital platform with substance, clear user guidance, and a future-proof infrastructure.
